How to play the crossword
- 1Pick a card on the welcome screen: Levels, Daily Round, Classic or Trivia.
- 2Tap any square — or a clue — to light up the word it belongs to.
- 3Tap the letters in the tray below the board to fill that word. A typed keyboard works too.
- 4Press Check when the word is full. Right letters stay green, a wrong word shakes and goes back.
- 5Finish every word on the board before your checks run out to clear the level.
How trivia works
- Choose a difficulty, then answer ten questions a round.
- Every question has four options and only one is correct.
- The score screen shows how many you got and the stars you earned.
- Next round takes you up one, so the questions keep getting harder.
Hints and coins
Letter hint · 5 coins. Fills the first empty letter of the word you are on.
Word hint · 15 coins. Reveals the whole word, so the crossing letters fall into place too.
No coins? Watch a short rewarded video from the same hint sheet and the hint is free.
Stars. Three stars for a clean board, one fewer for each hint you took.
Coins come from finished levels, rounds, the daily round and your play streak. They are never bought.
