What we keep, and the rules of the game

Last updated 24 October 2026

Playing 9ja Puzzles

By playing the game you agree to these rules. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the app.

Your account

One account each, please. Keep your login to yourself — anything done with your account is treated as done by you. You can delete your account and its data at any time from Settings.

Your name and picture

Pick a name and a picture that are yours to use: no pretending to be someone else, and nothing hateful, rude or unlawful. We may reset a name or picture that breaks these rules. Your username can only be changed once a week, and the app tells you the date of your next change.

Coins, stars and points

Coins, stars and leaderboard points are part of the game only. They have no cash value, they cannot be bought, sold, gifted or transferred, and we may correct or reset them if a fault or cheating distorts them.

Fair play

No bots, scripts, or tampering with the app, the puzzles or another player’s records. Play the game the way it is meant to be played, and we can remove a score or an account that does not.

Our content

The puzzles, clues, artwork, characters and the 9ja Puzzles name belong to us. Play them for yourself, and please do not copy or resell them.

Your picture

A photo you upload stays yours. By uploading it you allow us to store it and show it to other players on the leaderboard, and you confirm you have the right to share it.

Availability

The game is provided as it is. We may add, change, pause or remove features, and we cannot promise the app will always be available or that every game will be saved.

Limits

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for lost progress, lost coins or interruptions to play. Nothing here takes away rights the law gives you.

Changes to these terms

If these terms change, we will update the date on this page. Carrying on playing after that means you accept the new terms.

Which law applies

These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
